Privacy Policy
Overview
Thermal State collects a small amount of anonymized usage data to help improve the app, and nothing that identifies you personally. It does not track you across other apps or websites, show ads, or sell data.
This policy covers the Thermal State app for iPhone and iPad and its widgets, published by Quiet Apps. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Quiet Apps.
Information we collect
The only data that leaves your device is anonymized usage data, sent to our analytics provider, TelemetryDeck. It includes:
- A random identifier for your installation of the app. It stays the same for that installation but cannot be traced back to you.
- Actions taken in the app, such as opening it or changing a setting.
- The time of each action, rounded to the nearest hour.
- Basic device details: iOS version, app version, build number, device model, and whether the app was installed from the App Store or TestFlight.
The device readings Thermal State displays, such as thermal state, battery level, memory, storage, and uptime, are read on your device and stay there.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, IP address, or anything else that identifies you. Thermal State has no accounts or sign-in.
How we use information
We use analytics data only to understand how Thermal State is used and to make it better. That means seeing which features and settings people use, spotting errors, and deciding which iOS versions and devices to support.
We do not use this data for advertising, to build profiles of individuals, or to link it to your identity.
Third-party services
Thermal State shares data with one third party: TelemetryDeck GmbH, a privacy-focused analytics provider based in Augsburg, Germany.
- Identifiers are anonymized on your device before anything is sent.
- TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses and does not use cookies or cross-app tracking.
- Data is stored on servers in the European Union.
TelemetryDeck protects this data to the same or a higher standard than described in this policy. You can read its practices in the TelemetryDeck privacy policy.
If you make an in-app purchase, such as a tip, Apple processes the payment. We never receive your name or payment details. Apple may also share aggregated app statistics with us if you have chosen to share analytics with developers in your device settings. Apple’s handling of that data is covered by Apple’s own privacy policy.
Tracking and advertising
Thermal State does not track you. It does not follow your activity across other companies’ apps or websites, contains no ads, and does not use your device’s advertising identifier.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Data retention and deletion
We keep anonymized analytics data for as long as it is useful for improving the app. Because it cannot be linked to you, we have no way to find or delete a specific person’s records.
To stop sending analytics data, delete Thermal State from your device. Any settings stored on your device are removed along with it.

Children’s privacy
Thermal State is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. The analytics described above are the same for every user and never include personal information.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
